Congratulations! It is a fantastic achievement to complete a manuscript and take the next step in the publishing journey: editing.
Editing is a collaborative process. I’m the right editor for you if you have written a general non-fiction work sharing your experiences or how-to instructions or other educational content. Or maybe your work is academic (social sciences or the humanities) and you’re a native English speaker or an EAL/ESL writer. I also work with long and short form business or corporate documentation, such as reports, website content, blog posts and other marketing material.

Stylistic or line editing
Line editing is a more intense form of editing and focuses on improving the flow and readability of the text by refining the language.
Editors often combine line/stylistic editing with copyediting to help a writer produce a polished and effective piece of writing. If not combined with copyediting, it usually takes place first.

Copyediting considers the overall quality and effectiveness of the text and makes corrections to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
This service is best for writers who are confident that their content is sound, and need help with the writing at paragraph and sentence level.

Proofreading
Proofreading is the last check of a text before printing and publication. Even after careful editing, some errors may still slip through and proofreading is the last opportunity to catch them.
